Leadercath + is a polyurethane central venous catheter, totally radiopaque, inserted in the subclavian or jugular vein using the Seldinger technique. The puncture needle is supplied with a (removable) BLS valve (BloodLess System) which avoids blood losses and the risk of air embolism.The catheter has centimetric graduations from 5 cm from the distal tip.Leadercath + has fixation wings and an integral polyurethane extension tube (length 10 cm) with clamp.The Leader-Cath + tray contains:

1 puncture needle (length 70 mm) with BLS valve to avoid blood loss and the risk of air embolism,
1 polyurethane catheter (Radiopaque), with integral extension tube (length 10 cm),
1 Nitinol “J” guidewire (length 53 cm) particularly kink-resistant with thumbfeed guide advancer,
1 vessel dilator, length 10 cm,
1 scalpel,
1 syringe (5 ml),
1 adaptor for pressure transducer,
1 injection membrane cap.
