Epidural Mini-Kit (Peripur Catheter + Needle + Filter)
Mini-kit for epidural anaesthesia including:
– 1 transparent polyurethane catheter with radiopaque lines, int. Ø 0.5 mm, ext. Ø 1.0 mm, length 90 cm, flexible tubing without stylet, closed distal tip with 3 lateral eyes (code 189.30), open distal tip without lateral eyes (code 189.60). Centimetre graduations from 5 to 20 cm from the distal tip. Proximal connector “Easy-lock” type.
N.B. The black mark at the distal end allows the user to ensure that the entire catheter has been withdrawn. Resistant to kinking and stretching.
– 1 catheter-guide which connects onto the needle hub and facilites insertion of the catheter into the needle and epidural space.
– 1 Tuohy needle 17G – Length 90 mm with plastic transparent hub and removable wings (code 184.17). Graduated every centimetre.

Epidural Set with Peribax Catheter (16G)
Mini set for epidural anaesthesia containing :
– 1 Tuohy needle 16 G, 80 mm long with transparent hub and removable wings.
The needle has graduations every centimetre. The transparent hub allows to quickly visualize an accidental reflux of blood or of CSF.
– 1 PEBAX catheter (polyether blockamide), 19 G, 90 cm long with open distal end (code 5191.601) or with closed distal end and 3 lateral eyes (code 5191.801).
The catheter has markings every centimetre from 5 to 20 cm and a black mark at the distal end to ensure that the entire catheter has been withdrawn.
A catheter guide which connects onto the Tuohy needle facilitates the insertion of the catheter in the epidural space.

Epimatic
Epimatic is a syringe allowing automatic location of the epidural space thanks to the continuous positive pressure applied on the plunger by an elastic strip.
The anaesthetist insert the needle and use one hand to hold the ultra sounds probe in order to control the needle progression. He receives a visual confirmation of access of Tuohy needle to the epidural space.
Syringe can be used either with liquid or air.

Extension Tube for Enteral Nutrition with Lateral Port
Extension tube for enteral nutrition presenting the following features:
Distal end: Christmas tree adaptor* to connect this entension tube to any type of gastric / gastroduodenal tube with large funnel (Salem sump tube, PEG …). The Christmas tree adaptor is removable. If this adaptor is removed, it is then possible to connect this extension tube to a feeding tube featuring a Nutrisafe 2 connection.
Lateral port with Nutrisafe 2 connection so that connecting a standard Luer 6 % fitting is not possible.
Roberts clamp on the proximal section of the extention tube so that the user can clamp the tube to interrupt the administration of enteral feeds while the lateral port is used for drug injections.
Large proximal funnel to connect the extension tube to a pump administration set or to a syringe with large cone.
