Giraffe OmniBed Carestation

The Giraffe® OmniBed® is a richly-featured neonatal microenvironment that combines the thermal advantages of a double-walled incubator with the access advantages of an open bed radiant warmer. Conversion between an incubator and an open bed warmer happens in seconds with a touch of a button. In either open or closed bed operation, the OmniBed provides precise microprocessor controlled thermal support. Stress on the infant, staff, and family members is reduced by eliminating the need to transfer the baby between incubators and warmers. Less equipment is now required for caregiving, cleaning, service, and storage. The OmniBed pioneered developmentally appropriate features including the patented Baby SusanTM rotating mattress and internal bed tilt.

  • SLE6000

    The SLE6000 is the fourth generation oscillator from SLE. With SLE’s unique valveless technology using high-speed bidirectional jets, it ensures a powerful, effective and reliable HFO delivery.
    The SLE6000’s square pressure waveform output delivers the most tidal volume per unit of pressure, allowing the clinician to employ the lowest possible pressures whilst maintaining adequate volumes. An added benefit of this is that in term infants the performance of the SLE6000 is not significantly affected by an increase in oscillation frequency.
    The HFOV mode on the SLE6000 also features active exhalation that is capable of treating a wide range of patients in a way that provides optimal ventilation and controlled oxygenation. New to the SLE6000 is non-invasive HFOV.

  • Monica Novii

    The Monica Novii monitors fetal heart rate, maternal heart rate and uterine activity, all with a single patch. It is an effective solution for monitoring high BMI patients and minimizes the risk of maternal/fetal heart rate confusion. In addition, the cable-free system requires no repositioning and allows for easier monitoring during
    some clinical procedures.
    The single-patient use Novii Patch is a completely belt-free, wireless solution. It allows for greater freedom of movement during labor and a more comfortable experience for the patient.Picking up consistent, reliable fetal heart rate and uterine activity can be challenging on high BMI patients. Monica Novii monitors the electrical signals on the patient’s abdomen and therefore the quality of the monitoring is not compromised by high BMI. Studies, recruiting women up to a BMI of 60, have shown minimal loss in FHR and UA performance as the BMI increases.
