Dermafilm
Transparent polyurethane dressing film for protecting catheter introduction sites. Dermafilm has detachable strips and is self-adhesive, permeable to water vapour and oxygen, hypoallergenic, stretchable and sterile. Water vapour transmission has been tested according to the EN13726 standard.
Hubsite
Infusion device with Huber bevel for implantable ports.
Huber bevel needle curved to 90° with wings and flexible polyurethane extension tube (length 30cm) with clamp.

Autoflush on the lateral port of Hubsite (code 1251) and Perfusafe (code 1250) is a closed needleless device allowing blood sampling, intermittent injections or continuous infusions of fluids or drugs.
Autoflush includes a disinfectable piston (disinfection must be carried out before and after each use) which closes automatically when the infusion line or the syringe is disconnected.
Autoflush provides a 0.03ml positive displacement of I.V. solution when the syringe is disconnected from the lateral port of the Hubsite thus eliminating any retrograde flow of blood into the catheter lumen, preventing catheter occlusion.

Lifecath
Lifecath is a silicone central venous catheter with subcutaneous cuff for long-term venous access. The subcutaneous tissues colonize the cuff which ensures a secure and efficient fixation of the catheter.The extra-vascular section of the catheter features a reinforced section with clamping site, clamp and a non-removable proximal hub. The tunnellisation of the catheter must be carried out before inserting the catheter in the vein.
Lifecath can be inserted either by venous cut-down (catheter only) or by percutaneous puncture (kit with peel-apart Desilet). The fixation wings are only used during the 2 or 3 first weeks after placement of the catheter to secure it against motion, thus ensuring a quicker colonization of the Dacron cuff by the subcutaneous tissues.
