According to physician’s preference, the catheter is either detachable or pre-connected to the port.

The simple kit includes:

  • 1 titanium implantable port
  • 1 radiopaque silicone catheter not connected to the port codes 2216.016/.017/.019/.216, connected to the port codes 2216.026/.029
  • 1 catheter guide
  • 1 adapter to prime detachable catheters (codes 2216.016/.017/.019/.216)
  • 1 straight needle with Huber bevel code 1057.27 (length: 25mm, diameter 22G – 0.7mm)


    • Code 2216.216 contains the above mentioned components and:

  • 1 tunnellisation needle
  • 1 IV cannula introducer, Intraflon type (code 122.27)
  • 1 stylet (within the silicone IV catheter)
  • 1 Hubsite needle (length: 20mm, diameter: 20G – 0.9mm) with Huber bevel and PUR extension tube for infusion code 1239.920
